Ladies from the Epiphany of Our Lord in Monessen are busy stuffing shells for the annual Church festival this Saturday and Sunday. The Shells are meat or cheese and sold separately or included in an Italian Platter with homemade hot or sweet sausage, fresh garden salad or corn on the cob and Italian bread. Also featured will be a Slovak platter to include Epiphany’s famous periogies, halushki and halupki, salad or corn. Saturday’s menu will include outdoor grilled items and Entertainment provided by Brother Jeep. Sunday’s menu features a variety of Ethnic foods and The Dynasonics (polka band). All masses this weekend will be held at the Chapel site on Pennsylvania Blvd.

The Epiphany Ladies from the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen, will be hosting a “Multi-Vendor Craft Show” on Saturday Oct 12th. The event will be held in the Social Hall of the Church, located at 618 Knox Ave, Monessen. Doors will open at 10:00 AM and run until 6:00 PM. Some of the vendors participating include: Thirty-One Gifts, Pampered Chef, Premiere Designs, Celebrating Homes, Scentsy Products, Tastefully Simple, Lea Sophia Jewelry, Jamberry Nails by Jessica, Origami Owl, Tupperware, Shortbread City Designer Desserts and Jafra Cosmetics.
Rounding out the event will be many local Mon Valley crafters as well as crafters from Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Maryland offering a variety of handmade items, including Deco-Mesh wreaths, doll clothes, handmade jewelry, afghans, scarves, pottery, night lights, ornaments and scrap-booking just to name a few. A small menu of food will be available: hot dogs w/ kraut, nachos and cheese and walking tacos and our famous “Fried Dough”.

FALL 2013 -- The Epiphany Ladies will be very busy this fall. They a currently selling ENJOY Books, the books are available now and you can start using them now. Cost is $30.00 (same as last year) If interested contact any member or Betty Geis, 724-684-5037. Save the dates for the following events to take place in the main church hall. A Multi-Vendor/ Craft Holiday Show will be held on Saturday October 12 from 10am to 6pm and a Turkey Bingo on Sunday afternoon November 17. Your help is needed to make these projects successful so mark your calendars and invite your friends and family. Thank you for your past and future support in the Epiphany Ladies fundraising projects.
