Street Level Band, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. All Wheels Parade. 7 p.m. (Scroll down for rules) Saturday, August 5 Car Show Noon - 4 p.m. Balloon Artist - 2 - 4 p.m. Pittsburgh BelAirs -- 12:30 - 3:30 Elvis Impersonator (Eddie Steen) -- 4 - 6 American Pie Band, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Outdoor Mass - 10:00 p.m. All Wheels Parade!The All Wheels Parade is open to any people-powered items with wheels -- from bicycles to wheelchairs to lawnmowers. if it moves by people pushing or pulling it, it's in. ( Hover boards and kiddie cars are acceptable.)

Going to the 'Hounds!
As part of Monessen's 125th Anniversary Celebration, you will have the opportunity to vote on the best decorated stuffed Greyhound! The Greyhound has been a Monessen Mascot longer than most of us can remember. In honor of the anniversary milestone, a pack of stuffed, and decorated, Greyhounds have been making an appearance throughout the City during the summer. Each vote is $1, which goes to the City's Anniversary Committee. Epiphany of Our Lord is represented so be sure to check out the dogs! |
